Our region is known worldwide for its theme parks. What’s not as well known are the many companies (and their employees) in our community that bring memorable experiences to life at attractions.
I recently joined Regina Hill District 5 Commissioner to visit Alcorn McBride Inc., which manufactures audio, video, show and lighting products for the entertainment and theme park industries. The company’s engineers have had their work used in theme parks in Central Florida and around the world, as well as museums, visitor centers and casinos. Alcorn McBride is one of the many companies helping make Orlando a hub for technology and the careers of tomorrow.
