UCF women’s tennis players Lauren Seye and Olivia Bergler have entered the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) doubles rankings at No. 54 for the start of the 2026 season. The ranking comes after a series of strong performances, including an undefeated start to their dual-match campaign.
The pair achieved a notable win against Florida State’s M.B. Deatherage and Cade Cricchio last Friday, securing a 6-0 victory on court three. Earlier in the season, they also defeated Marshall’s Thalia Smith and Nour El Ouazzani with a score of 6-1 during the ITA Kickoff Weekend on January 25, helping UCF clinch the doubles point.
With no updated team rankings released this week, UCF remains at No. 25 following its recent 4-1 win over Florida State.
Looking ahead, Seye and Bergler will take a break from competition this weekend before resuming play next Friday in Miami against FIU at 1 p.m., followed by a match against Miami in Coral Gables on Sunday at 1 p.m.
