On Friday, April 4, former Boone High School standout Cooper Ellingworth’s current college team, the USC Upstate Spartans, won 10-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the High Point Panthers.

The game took place at Coy O. Williard Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Coy O. Williard Stadium against High Point Panthers.
