City of Orlando Redistricting Advisory Board Holds District Community

City of Orlando Redistricting Advisory Board Holds District Community Meetings

City Encourages Citizens to Attend District Community Meetings and Participate in the Redistricting Process

WHAT:
Every ten years, following the completion of the federal census, the City of Orlando initiates a redistricting process using the new census data to ensure equal population among the city commission districts.

A key part of this process includes input from residents. To make public participation as easy as possible, the City of Orlando’s Redistricting Advisory Board (RAB) is going out into the community to host a series of community meetings in each city district to solicit community feedback.

Members of the public can attend the hybrid meetings in person or online to provide input on the proposed changes to the City of Orlando commission districts.  Residents can choose to attend any of the community meetings and are not limited to their district.

For more information on upcoming board and community meetings, or to attend meetings virtually, please visit orlando.gov/redistricting.
