The City of Orlando’s Downtown Development Board has approved the continuation of DTOLive, an arts and cultural activation program, for a second season. The program, which had a successful inaugural year, will continue to offer free live performances in downtown Orlando.

DTOLive aims to highlight local talent and enhance the cultural identity of downtown Orlando by featuring musicians, performers, and artists throughout the week. The program has been updated with new performance days and locations but remains focused on creating accessible cultural moments.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer stated, “With the renewal of DTOLive, we’re continuing to invest in the creative spirit that makes downtown Orlando so special. This program not only supports our local artists but also strengthens our economy, brings people together, and celebrates the cultural richness of our community.”

The renewed program targets key times and locations to maximize engagement. David Barilla, Executive Director of the Downtown Development Board said, “DTOLive exemplifies our vision for downtown – a place where culture, commerce, and community come together.”

In collaboration with United Arts of Central Florida, DTOLive aligns with long-term city goals such as driving foot traffic for local businesses and ensuring arts accessibility. Jennifer Evins from United Arts noted that “DTOLive is an inspiring example of how public-private partnerships can enliven a city and make the arts part of everyday life.”
