Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost, representing Florida’s 10th district since 2023, has recently shared his thoughts on several pressing issues via social media. Frost, who succeeded Val Demings and holds a degree from Florida State University, expressed concerns over incidents of violence and legislative developments affecting marginalized communities.
On June 2, 2025, Frost expressed horror at an antisemitic attack in Boulder that followed the shooting of two Israeli embassy officials in Washington D.C. He stated: “I’m horrified to hear about the antisemitic attack in Boulder, just weeks after the shooting of two Israeli embassy officials in DC. My thoughts are with the victims and their families. There is no place for this hatred and violence — and we must keep working to end it.”
The following day, June 3, 2025, Frost commented on Pride Month, emphasizing its significance as both a celebration and protest. He remarked: “Pride is an act of resistance. It’s a celebration of joy and love and a protest against those who try to undermine the worth of our LGBTQ+ community. But your existence and dignity are not up for debate — not by any administration or politician.”
On June 4, 2025, Frost criticized House Republicans’ proposed legislation known as the “Big Beautiful Bill.” In his statement, he warned that the bill would remove health insurance coverage for millions while benefiting billionaires through tax cuts: “House Republicans’ ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ would kick an additional 10.9 MILLION people off their health insurance. Gutting Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act while giving tax cuts to billionaires is shameful and hurts millions of Americans.”
Maxwell Frost continues to voice strong opinions on these matters as part of his role in Congress.
