Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost, who represents Florida’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on April 30, 2026, addressing community events and national policy issues.

On April 30, Frost invited constituents to a local discussion hosted by Orange County Public Schools (OCPS), writing: “TONIGHT: Join OCPS for a community discussion about new legislation & enrollment trends and what it means for our schools.” The event aimed to engage the public regarding recent legislative changes and their impact on school enrollment.

Later that day, Frost commented on Supreme Court proceedings affecting Temporary Protected Status (TPS) holders. He stated: “Yesterday, the Supreme Court heard arguments that could determine the future of TPS for 1.3 million people, including thousands in Central FL. TPS is a lifeline and deserves to be upheld. Ending it would harm families, communities, and our economy.”

In another post on April 30, Frost addressed the recent shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He wrote: “BREAKING: House Republicans kept DHS shut down for over 70 days, cutting off funds for FEMA, TSA, the Coast Guard & more. They caved today after accomplishing nothing. They’re playing games with your safety while making life harder and more expensive. I’ll keep fighting to”

Maxwell Frost has represented Florida’s 10th District since replacing Val Demings in 2023. Born in Orlando in 1997 and currently residing there at age 26, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University.
