Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost, who represents Florida’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, has used his social media platform to highlight concerns about health care access and government operations, particularly under Republican leadership.
On November 3, 2025, Frost described the personal struggles faced by his constituents: “A teacher working two jobs who can’t afford doctor visits. A veteran worried one bill could make him homeless. A mom fighting stage four breast cancer.
These are just some of the Central Floridians impacted by the Republican health care crisis. Read my new op-ed on what’s at”.
The following day, he criticized former President Trump and his administration’s handling of government funding negotiations: “Trump would rather let 42 million families, including families like Micah’s, go hungry than follow the law and work with Congress to reopen the government.
This cruelty and chaos from this administration isn’t just the strategy, it’s the point.” (November 4, 2025).
On November 5, Frost called for urgent legislative action: “What people want is simple: to get the care they need when they need it. Congress must deliver a deal now that reopens the government, makes health care affordable, and extends the ACA tax credits. Anything less is a failure of our government and a betrayal of our people.”
Frost succeeded Val Demings as representative for Florida’s 10th district in 2023. He was born in Orlando in 1997 and continues to reside there. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University.
