Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost, who represents Florida’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, has used his social media platform to voice concerns over immigration enforcement and announce upcoming public engagement events.
On August 19, 2025, Frost posted: “Trump’s ICE operates in the shadows as they actively rip away rights from folks. That’s why @RepDarrenSoto and I showed up at their Orlando field office to demand answers and check on our constituents.
We’ll be back to conduct more oversight and continue standing up for the https://t.co/2ht1NAn9SZ“.
The following day, August 20, 2025, he shared plans for a community event: “I’m hosting a virtual immigration town hall tomorrow, 8/21 at 5 pm!
We’ll discuss the impact of the latest immigration policies from the Trump Administration and the fight ahead to protect our immigrant communities in Central FL.
RSVP at https://t.co/CLwcd07f0Whttps://t.co/dbMSP9SUtq“.
Later that same day, Frost reported his visit to a detention facility: “I’m on my way to the Everglades Detention Facility to check in on constituents and Floridians who are being detained here and demand accountability.
Stay tuned for updates on my tour and the ongoing lawsuits that could shut this place down. https://t.co/DgXeBSk2dW”.
Frost is currently serving his first term after succeeding Val Demings in Congress in 2023. He was born in Orlando in 1997 and continues to reside there. The congressman graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University. His recent actions highlight his continued focus on oversight of immigration enforcement agencies and advocacy for immigrant communities in Central Florida.
