Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost, who has represented Florida’s 10th District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently addressed several issues affecting his constituents through a series of posts on social media. His messages focused on public safety during extreme heat, housing affordability, and legislative efforts to protect renters.

On July 9, 2025, Frost advised Central Florida residents to take precautions during the summer heat. He wrote: “Central FL, make sure you know how to stay safe in the heat this summer! Find a cooling shelter near you and more tips to stay safe at https://t.co/wyaodmPTex https://t.co/oRbg6VTPIv”.

In a post dated July 10, 2025, Frost criticized corporate practices related to rental fees and promoted new legislation. He stated: “Corporations and huge rental companies are hiding fees to drive up rents and line their own pockets. My End Junk Fees for Renters Act with @SenJeffMerkley would crack down on junk fee profiteering by landlords, empower tenants, and fight for housing justice and transparency.”

Continuing his focus on housing issues on July 11, 2025, Frost emphasized the challenges faced by renters due to rising costs and additional fees. He said: “Housing is a human right — but for far too many folks in Central Florida and across the country, the skyrocketing cost of rent and junk fees are making it hard to get ahead or find a place to live. I introduced the End Junk Fees for Renters Act and End Tenant Credit Screening”.

Maxwell Frost was born in Orlando in 1997 and currently resides there. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University.
