Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost, who represents Florida’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed issues ranging from public transportation to gun violence in a series of posts on his social media account.
On September 9, 2025, Frost announced new legislative efforts to improve urban transit systems. He stated, “Getting to work, school, or a doctor’s appointment without a car shouldn’t be impossible. That’s why I just introduced the Faster Buses Better Futures Act to help cities redesign and modernize their bus systems so they actually work for riders and get people where they need to”.
The following day, September 10, 2025, Frost responded to an incident involving Charlie Kirk and students at Utah Valley University (UVU). He wrote, “This is nothing short of horrific. Charlie Kirk, UVU students, and every single person deserves to be safe from gun violence no matter where they are in our country or what their political beliefs are.”
Later that same day, Frost commented on another violent event at a Colorado high school. He posted, “Another senseless shooting today at a Colorado high school. My heart goes out to the students, teachers, and families impacted. No community should have to endure this pain. We must confront the gun violence epidemic like the crisis it is and act now.”
Frost has served as the representative for Florida’s 10th District since 2023 after succeeding Val Demings. Born in Orlando in 1997 and currently residing there, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University.
