In a tweet posted at 16:48 UTC, Congressman Frost informed the public about a free meal program for children and young adults under 18. The initiative is provided by Orange County Public Schools Food & Nutrition Services and will run from June 2 to July 25 across several pop-up branches in Central Florida.

At 18:01 UTC, Frost expressed his stance on an immigration bill, stating, “This bill doesn’t fix our broken immigration system. I won’t pretend it does. But this is a necessary step.” He urged Republicans, including Donald Trump and Kristi Noem, to be transparent with the public regarding their actions concerning the bill.

In another tweet at 18:01 UTC, he criticized the former administration’s handling of immigration matters by saying, “Donald Trump and his Administration have turned our immigration system into a taxpayer-funded kidnapping operation.” To address these concerns, Frost introduced the Stop Unlawful Detention and End Mistreatment (SUDEM) Act aimed at curbing such practices.

Maxwell Frost has been serving in Congress since replacing Val Demings in 2023. Born in Orlando in 1997, he graduated from Florida State University with a BS degree and continues to reside in Orlando.
