Orlando Economic Partnership issued the following announcement on April 7.

Walt Disney World announced plans to build 1,300 affordable units near Flamingo Crossings Town Center, just west of the parks. While still in an early planning stage, the investment in workforce housing is set to better the lives of countless hospitality workers, the lifeblood of our regional economy.
