On Saturday, May 17, former Lake Highland Prep High School standout Matthew Fogel’s current collegiate team the Tampa Spartans lost 12-2 against the Mississippi Choctaws in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.
The game took place at UT Baseball Field at 5 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Mississippi Choctaws in the tournament.
The Tampa Spartans’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 1 p.m. at UT Baseball Field.
