On Thursday, May 22, former Lake Highland Prep High School standout Matthew Fogel’s current collegiate team the Tampa Spartans won 8-1 against the West Florida Argonauts in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.
The game took place at UT Baseball Field at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the West Florida Argonauts in the tournament.
The Tampa Spartans’ next game will take place on Friday, May 23 at 12 p.m. at UT Baseball Field.
