On Friday, March 21, former Lake Nona High School standout Jianna Simonet’s current college team, the FIU Golden Panthers, won 8-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the New Mexico State Aggies.

The game took place at Felsberg Field at the FIU Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Aggies this season.

The Golden Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 6 p.m. at Felsberg Field at the FIU Softball Stadium against New Mexico State Aggies.
