On Sunday, March 9, former Boone High School standout Luke Mottola’s current college team, the UCF Knights, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Monmouth Hawks.
The game took place at John Euliano Park. This was their third matchup against the Hawks this season.
The Knights’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 6:30 p.m. at John Euliano Park against Miami Hurricanes.
