Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost, who represents Florida’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on his social media account between September 1 and September 3, 2025, addressing labor rights, public health policy in Florida, and immigration issues related to Venezuelans.
On September 1, Frost acknowledged the contributions of American workers in a post marking Labor Day. He stated: “On Labor Day, we honor the achievements of American workers. From securing safer working conditions to establishing the 40-hour work week, union workers have built a stronger, fairer, and more prosperous nation.”
Two days later, on September 3, Frost criticized Florida Governor Ron DeSantis regarding changes to vaccination policies in the state. He wrote: “DeSantis is about to turn Florida into a hotbed for measles, TB, RSV, and the flu – diseases that threaten our children, seniors, and vulnerable Floridians the most but that vaccines have proven to prevent. Make no mistake: people will die, kids will die at the expense of”.
Later that day on September 3, Frost addressed U.S. immigration policy toward Venezuelans under former President Donald Trump’s administration. He posted: “The Trump Admin. is stripping TPS for Venezuelans in the U.S. and is claiming that conditions in Venezuela are not that bad. Meanwhile Venezuelans are going hungry and without food and medicine under the Maduro regime. But apparently that’s good enough for Donald Trump.”
Frost has represented Florida’s 10th congressional district since replacing Val Demings in 2023. Born in Orlando in 1997 and currently residing there at age 26, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University.
