Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost, who represents Florida’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of posts addressing key issues impacting Central Floridians and national policy. Frost, who succeeded Val Demings in 2023 and is an Orlando native, highlighted local engagement and legislative efforts in his recent tweets.

On July 15, 2025, Frost thanked participants of a recent town hall meeting, stating: “Thanks to everyone who turned out for a great town hall with @EqualGroundFL and State Rep. LaVon Bracy Davis this past Friday! We heard directly from Central Floridians about Trump’s Big Ugly Law, Republicans’ immigration policies, and other issues impacting their lives.”

The following day, on July 16, 2025, Frost addressed the U.S. House floor regarding reports of an internment camp in Florida. He wrote: “I spoke on the House floor to shine a light on a moral atrocity — an internment camp that Trump and his Administration have propped up deep in the Florida Everglades. It’s disgusting, it’s un-American, and I will do everything in my power to make sure it does not continue.”

Later that same day, Frost commented on challenges facing public transit systems: “Public transit is a lifeline for people to get to work, school, the doctor, and more. But rising prices for cities to purchase buses are making it harder for transit agencies to expand and serve more riders. I introduced the bipartisan Transit Bus Affordability Act with Rep.”

Frost has been serving as U.S. Representative since 2023 after earning his degree from Florida State University. At age 26, he continues to reside in Orlando where he was born.
