Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost, who has represented Florida’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, used his social media platform this week to address issues related to voting rights and veterans’ care.
On August 6, 2025, Frost marked the anniversary of a landmark civil rights law by posting: “60 years ago, the Voting Rights Act of 1965 was signed into law, thanks to the generations of Americans marched, organized, and fought for the right to vote.
Today, that hard-won freedom is under attack by MAGA extremists as they gerrymander districts and undermine our”. The post highlights concerns about current efforts to alter voting districts.
The following day, August 7, 2025, Frost commented on labor practices affecting Department of Veterans Affairs employees: “Union busting hurts our veterans. The Trump Admin is stripping the rights of those who care for our vets, making it harder to deliver safe, quality care.

Later on August 7, he addressed redistricting in southern states: “Republicans want to do to Florida what they’re doing to Texas — redraw maps that make sure they’re always the ones in power. My statement below: https://t.co/lU4q55dCg5”.
Frost was born in Orlando in 1997 and continues to reside there. He succeeded Val Demings as representative for Florida’s 10th district after graduating from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
