Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost, who represents Florida’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed several local and national issues through a series of posts on his social media account between May 8 and May 9, 2026.

On May 8, Frost commented on the recent collapse of Spirit Airlines, highlighting concerns for its employees. He wrote, “Working people made Spirit Airlines what it was, and they deserve better than being left behind after its collapse. I joined hundreds of Spirit employees & the @AFA_CWA at an Orlando rally to stand together and demand support, accountability, and dignity for Spirit employees.”

Later that day, Frost criticized a proposal related to postal regulations and firearms access. In his post dated May 8, he stated, “This is an outrageous proposal that would make our communities less safe. I have reached out to Postmaster General David Steiner raising serious concerns that these changes will only make it easier for people who shouldn’t have guns to get them and put more people at risk.”

On May 9, Frost shared news about federal funding secured for housing initiatives in Central Florida. He posted: “This week, I joined local leaders and advocates as the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida announced plans for a new center for women and families. We secured $3 million in federal funding for this important project to expand housing and fight for a future where”

Frost has represented Florida’s 10th district since 2023 after succeeding Val Demings. At age 26, he is among the youngest members of Congress; he was born in Orlando in 1997 and continues to reside there. Frost holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University.
