Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost, representing Florida’s 10th district since 2023, has recently expressed his views on various issues through a series of tweets. Frost, who succeeded Val Demings and holds a degree from Florida State University, shared his opinions on federal agency leadership, teacher appreciation, and employment opportunities for veterans.
On May 8, 2025, Congressman Frost commented on the firing of the Acting FEMA Director by the Trump Administration. He noted that “Yesterday: Acting FEMA Director tells Congress that FEMA should continue to exist. Today: Acting FEMA Director fired by the Trump Administration. Tell me again how Donald Trump gives a damn about helping people in need.”
Later that day, Frost reflected on his personal connection to education during Teacher Appreciation Week. He tweeted about his mother’s long career in public education and extended gratitude to educators in Florida: “My mom taught in public schools for 37 years — I’ve seen firsthand how much teachers give with so little support. This Teacher Appreciation Week, I called educators across FL to say thank you. Your work means everything.”
The following day, May 9, 2025, Congressman Frost announced an employment opportunity within his office aimed at veterans and their families. He stated: “Calling all Veterans, Gold Star family members, & Active-Duty spouses: We’re hiring a Green & Gold Congressional Aide for a two-year paid fellowship in my Orlando office! This opportunity offers hands-on experience in public service, legislative work, & constituent services.”
