Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 10th district, has recently taken to social media to express his views on various legislative matters and issues affecting his constituents.

On May 16, 2025, Congressman Frost addressed former President Donald Trump in a tweet regarding a legislative proposal that did not advance in committee. “Hey Donald, Since your ‘big, beautiful bill’ turned out to be one big bust in committee, you might want to consider the following … ()” The post suggests dissatisfaction with the handling of the bill.

In a follow-up tweet posted on the same day, Congressman Frost elaborated on his criticisms of the proposed legislation. He remarked on what he perceived as its shortcomings: “1. What a wild way to be president and influence legislation. 2. This bill mainly cuts taxes for your billionaire friends like Elon and Bezos which isn’t quite the popular idea, hence why folks in your own party couldn’t support this bill. 3. Illegal aliens can’t be on Medicaid”. His comments highlight concerns over tax cuts favoring wealthy individuals and inaccuracies regarding Medicaid eligibility.

Later that day, Congressman Frost commented on Georgia’s abortion laws by sharing an instance involving Adriana Smith’s family being compelled to maintain life support due to legal constraints despite their wishes. He described this situation as “state-mandated cruelty” and expressed sympathy for Smith’s family.

Maxwell Frost has been serving Florida’s 10th District since 2023 after succeeding Val Demings. Born in Orlando in 1997, he is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
