Orlando, Florida—In celebration of Florida Bike Month, Mayor Buddy Dyer will lead the city’s 24th Annual Bike to Work Day on March 28, 2025. This event highlights the City of Orlando’s Silver-level Bicycle Friendly Community designation. Participants will begin their ride at 8 a.m. at Creative Village and will traverse through downtown Orlando to City Hall. The route includes Amelia Complete Streets, new bike lanes on Washington Street, Hicks Avenue expansion, Rosalind Avenue quick-build project, and intersection murals, which demonstrate the city’s commitment to improving cycling infrastructure and safety.
Upon completion of the ride, participants will gather at City Hall Plaza for a celebration and award presentation. Attendees will have opportunities to learn more about the city’s bike infrastructure, connect with local biking organizations, and access resources for a more bike-friendly Orlando. The event will start with onsite registration and check-in at 7 a.m. at Luminary Green Park. The ride will begin at the intersection of Terry Avenue and Amelia Street, concluding at City Hall at 8:30 a.m. A celebration will follow from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Free parking for participants is available at the Bob Carr parking lot.
