Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer Celebrates The Promise of Orlando with Annual State of the City Address 

WHAT:

On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will hold his 2023 State of City Address at Harriett’s Orlando Ballet Centre in Loch Haven Cultural Park.

As in years past, at the event Mayor Dyer will share the city’s recent accomplishments and announce future initiatives. This year’s speech will also celebrate The Promise of Orlando to provide an exceptional quality of life, further ensure a safe community, offer opportunity for all and invest in solutions to challenges, like affordable housing and homelessness. Additionally, the speech will feature Orlando residents and employees that showcase that promise put into practice.

Wednesday, May 24, 2023
10:30 a.m. – Mayor Dyer’s State of the City Address 

***Media should arrive by 10 a.m.to set up as there will be limited room for tripods and cameras.***

WHERE:

Harriett’s Orlando Ballet Centre 600 North Lake Formosa Drive

TO ATTEND:

Mayor Dyer’s State of the City Address is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP here, but not required.

PARKING:

Media:Media parking is reserved on the northside of the Orlando Ballet Centre on the southside of North Lake Formosa Drive between Alden Road and Camden Road. Please review parking map here.

Attendees:

Complimentary parking will be available in the Orlando Science Center’s parking garage located at 782 Princeton Street. Attendees are encouraged to arrive at least 20 minutes before the event start. A map is available at orlando.gov/soc.

VIEWING INFORMATION:

For those who are not able to attend Mayor Dyer’s State of the City Address in person, live and encore presentations of the address will be available at orlando.gov/soc.
