10 a.m. - “The Blind Experience”

Orlando City Hall Rotunda, 400 South Orange Avenue 

Mayor Dyer will join Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 5 Secretary Jared Perdue to promote awareness of the White Cane Law and pedestrian safety by participating in an experiential walk – with a blindfold over their eyes – to gain a better understanding of what people living with blindness and visual impairment face each day crossing a roadway.   

2 p.m. - Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts Media Event

Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, 445 South Magnolia Avenue 

Mayor Dyer will attend a media event at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts with Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings, the Dr. Phillips Center team and the community.

10 a.m. - Central Florida Commuter Rail Commission Meeting

250 South Orange Avenue, Suite 200 

Mayor Dyer will attend the Central Florida Commuter Rail Commission board meeting.  

 

1:30 p.m. – Major Rock Show Announcement at Camping World Stadium

1 Citrus Bowl Place 

Mayor Dyer will join City of Orlando Chief Venues Officer Allen Johnson at Camping World Stadium for an exciting announcement regarding a major rock concert that will be playing the city-owned venue in early 2022. This high-profile stadium show is further proof that Orlando continues to see a huge return on its investment in thoroughly reconstructing the stadium in 2014 and continuing the modernization with active construction upgrades now.

11:30 a.m. - Popular Lonely Girl Ribbon Cutting

520 East Church Street, Suite 108 

Mayor Dyer will join Popular Lonely Girl owners and staff to cut the ribbon and celebrate the grand opening downtown's newest retailer of women's fashion.
