Orlando home prices fell in May

The median sale price of a home sold in May in Orlando fell by $45,000 while total sales increased by 4,857.9 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May, there were 942 homes sold, with a median sale price of $325,000 - a 12.2 percent decrease from the $370,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Orlando in May 2021.

The median sales tax in Orlando for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,073, approximately 0.6 percent of the median home sale price for May.
