Attention event planners! As events slowly return to our city, let us help you plan an event that is not only safe, but also environmentally and socially responsible. We have recently published a Guide to Green Works for Events which can be downloaded here(PDF, 22MB).
Join us for this free virtual workshop which will walk you through the guide and help green your event so we can all do our part in protecting the City Beautiful.
In this workshop presented by the City's Sustainability and Resiliency Office, you will learn:
- How to identify and execute green opportunities before, during, and after the event.
- How to minimize an event's footprint in the areas of waste, water, and transportation, as well as support the local economy and programs.
- How to best utilize our readymade, easy to share signage and checklists with event vendors and visitors early on in the planning process to ensure sustainability success.
