At 6 p.m. today, the City of Orlando activated the Emergency Operations Center to a Level 1 “full activation” for Hurricane Nicole.

Effective immediately, all press inquiries must be sent directly to the Press Desk at the Emergency Operations Center. Additionally, effective immediately, all press updates and advisories will come from the Press Desk at the Emergency Operations Center.

This desk will be manned every single hour during the City’s EOC activation with the sole responsibility of assisting news media.

The City’s EOC Press Desk contact information is as follows:

Desk Phone: 321-235-5414

Email: OrlandoPIO@cityoforlando.net

Please ensure you add this contact information to your databases to ensure you receive all media updates that are issued.
