succulentsempire, owned and operated by Joelibeth Portillo, with help from her husband Carlos and her children, is a great example of how when we shop small, we help our neighbors thrive.
Joelibeth started her business at home, selling plants out of her garage. With a little determination and patience, her business left her garage and entered a brick-and-mortar space in Ivanhoe Village and an online shop. District 3 Commissioner: Robert F. Stuart and I visited Succulents Empire and loved learning more about Joelibeth and this Orlando small business success story that we should all be proud of.
