2022 State of Osceola County

The Osceola Board of County Commissioners and Brandon Arrington, Osceola Commissioner District 3, hosted the 2022 State of Osceola County earlier this week, and there is a lot to celebrate!

Osceola County's event was held shortly after County Commissioners surprised high school seniors with the announcement of the extension of the Osceola Prosper program in 2023, providing free college or technical education from Valencia College or Osceola Technical College with no out-of-pocket cost. This is a true testament to the importance of investing in our future workforce and the dedication leaders in Osceola County have for education.

In addition, the Partnership, BRIDG and the University of Central Florida, were recognized as recipients of the 2022 Osceola County Chairman’s Award for Organization of the Year for our efforts with the Build Back Better Coalition and in representation of the Orlando region’s semiconductor cluster.

Receiving this award emphasizes the power of public-private partnerships and our partners' dedication to our mission of advancing Broad-Based Prosperity® forward. Thank you to Chairman Arrington, the Osceola Board of County Commissioners, and County Manager Don Fisher for this recognition.
