Orlando, Fla. – Veytec, an Orlando-based leader in information technology networking solutions, expanded into its new headquarters at 2301 Silver Star Rd., Orlando. With the expansion, the more than 40-year-old locally owned and operated company that provides comprehensive security, collaboration, networking, storage, and data center solutions to optimize how clients communicate and conduct business has grown to 30 employees.

“It’s important to be in the City of Orlando and centrally located,” said Patrick Henson, Vice President of Operations at Veytec.

“We want our company to have a lasting impact on those we can reach, and having our team come to work just down the road from the Packing District gives us a great location to do that.”

To provide customized service solutions to meet the needs of businesses of any size or industry, Veytec has established a longstanding strategic partnership with Cisco and Netapp and is an authorized solutions provider with 20 other industry-leading vendors.

Henson’s father, Floyd Henson, and former Bell Labs engineers founded the company in 1977. Veytec was a pioneer in the Information Technology industry and sought to help organizations communicate and transfer data safely and securely. Today the company has earned multiple U.S. and Southeast U.S. Cisco Partner of the Year awards in addition to other industry awards. In recent years, Veytec became the first Cisco Partner headquartered in Florida to be certified in both Webex (Cloud) Contact Center and Cisco Customer Experience.

In November 2022, the company was honored with the USA Central Region Customer Experience (CX) Partner of the Year for its innovation, leadership, and best practice as a Cisco business partner in the Americas. As one of only three Cisco partners in the United States to win this award, Veytec was recognized for its CX practice’s unique sales, go-to-market approach, and innovation. Veytec has earned numerous accolades for its’ IT-focused business practices leading up to this national award and most recently won the FY22 Florida CX Partner of the Year with Cisco.

“We couldn’t have earned this without Pat’s vision, and our team’s commitment to engagement, outstanding execution, and advocacy of Cisco with our customers,” said Kyle Bates, Vice President of Veytec’s Customer Experience team, who accepted the award in Las Vegas along with Henson. “We wouldn’t be here without the support of our customers and partners, so thank you for being a part of our success.”

“In our industry, we are always trying to innovate and solve problems that others may not see,” Henson said. “Right now, it is exciting to be a part of this team that has created some unique solutions to business problems IT providers are facing nationwide on how to better support their clients. We recently launched a consulting practice to help train and guide other companies like Veytec to achieve award-winning customer experiences. We are able to help companies that are much bigger than ours on business practices and credentials since we are seen as a leading provider in our industry.”

“It sends a message when a 40-year company, who is a key part of Orlando’s technology ecosystem, and a respected industry leader recommits to growing in our region.”

Orlando Economic Partnership Chief Innovation Officer David Adelson

Beyond its historic roots in the region, Veytec chose to remain in Orlando due to its thriving technology ecosystem, high-quality infrastructure, global connectivity, business-friendly environment, and available real estate. The company selected its new location because it is one of the few parcels with an attached warehouse which allows the company to store networking and tech equipment for its customers prior to installation.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate Veytec’s decision to remain in and grow with our region,” said Orlando Economic Partnership President and CEO Tim Giuliani.

“I, along with the rest of the region’s business community, look forward to supporting Veytec as it enters a new era of providing the networking solutions our region’s businesses need to scale and succeed.”
