U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Marathon Update

The City of Orlando, the Greater Orlando Sports Commission, and Track Shack Events will be providing an update on the preparations for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Marathon. The event will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2024, in downtown Orlando. The update will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the Rotunda at Orlando City Hall.

Several key figures will be present at the update, including Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings, Jason Siegel (President & CEO, Greater Orlando Sports Commission), Jon Hughes (Co-Owner, Track Shack), Keith Brantly (Olympian and Retired Professional Long-Distance Runner), and Jim Young (Manager of Special Events Division, City of Orlando Transportation Department).

The update will provide the community with the latest information on the preparations for the marathon and what to expect during the event. Media are encouraged to arrive by 10:15am to set up, and media interviews will be conducted following the event.
