City Council Announces New Chief Financial Officer Appointment

On February 19, 2024, the City Council made an important announcement regarding the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer. The Council expressed their confidence in the newly appointed official, Michelle McCrimmon, who has a wealth of experience in the business and financial profession.

"We want to highlight the appointment of Michelle McCrimmon as our new Chief Financial Officer," stated the City Council. "We are confident Michelle is well qualified for our CFO role and will continue to provide our city with excellent financial management."

Michelle McCrimmon has previously served as the deputy CFO for 13 years, demonstrating her dedication and expertise in the field. The Council also took the opportunity to acknowledge Chris McCullion for his 18 years of service to the city, as he transitions into the role of CFO for the Orlando Utilities Commission.

"We would also like to thank Chris McCullion for his 18 years of dedication and service to our city," the Council expressed. "Please join us in congratulating Michelle and thanking Chris for his service."
