The City of Orlando invites residents to attend the Oath of Office ceremony for District 5 Interim City Commissioner Shaniqua “Shan” Rose. The event will take place on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 10 a.m. in the Orlando City Hall Council Chambers located at 400 South Orange Avenue.
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer extended the invitation, emphasizing the importance of the ceremony in reaffirming an elected official’s commitment to their duties as outlined by the City of Orlando’s Charter. The Charter mandates that City Commissioners recite the Oath before assuming their responsibilities.
