Fireworks celebration planned for July Fourth in Downtown Orlando

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, City Commissioners, and the Mayor’s Veteran Advisory Council invite the community to the 47th annual Fireworks at the Fountain event at Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando on Thursday, July 4, 2024.

Festivities will begin at 4 p.m., and spectators are encouraged to arrive early to secure a viewing spot and enjoy live entertainment and family-friendly activities. The event will feature a kid's zone with face painting, bubbles, and balloon animals. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from various food vendors. The evening will conclude with a patriotic fireworks display starting at 9:10 p.m., accompanied by a performance from the Orlando Concert Band.

The entertainment schedule is as follows:

- 4 p.m.: Festivities begin

- 4:30 – 5:35 p.m.: Harlequin Band and DJ Set

- 7:30 p.m.: City of Orlando Poet Laureate, Shawn Welcome

- 8 p.m.: Orlando Concert Band

- 8:45 - 9 p.m.: Mayor Media window behind the Band Shell at the Lake Eola Amphitheater

- 9 p.m.: Fireworks countdown pre-show

- 9:10 p.m.: Fireworks show

The event will take place from 4 to 10 p.m. at Lake Eola Park located at 195 North Rosalind Avenue in Downtown Orlando.

Parking is available throughout downtown in surface lots and garages. Downtown residents and those parking outside of the Library Garage on Central Boulevard are encouraged to use the free downtown LYMMO circulator. SunRail will operate for free on July 4, with last trains departing Church Street Station northbound at 10:38 p.m. and southbound at 10:51 p.m., while LYNX Central Station's last northbound train departs at 10:41 p.m. and southbound train departs at 10:48 p.m.

Media parking will be available in reserved metered spots along Rosalind Avenue south of Robinson Street; media must show credentials.
