The City of Orlando is encouraging residents to recycle their election signs and stands as part of an initiative to reduce landfill waste. The city has established six collection sites where metal frames will be recycled locally, and plastic corflute signs will be transported to NuCycle Energy in Plant City. At NuCycle, the signs will be transformed into Enviro Fuelcubes, which are used to generate electricity and serve as a cleaner alternative to coal.

Each location features marked blue bins or crates for easy drop-off of signs and stands. The primary election campaign sign drop-off dates run from Wednesday, August 21, 2024, through Sunday, September 1, 2024.

Collection locations in Orlando include:

- Orlando Solid Waste at 1028 Woods Avenue

- Broadway Methodist Church at 406 East Amelia Street

- First Unitarian Church of Orlando at 1901 East Robinson Street

Winter Park collection locations are:

- Cady Way Pool at 2529 Cady Way

- Mead Botanical Garden Community Garden at 1310 South Denning Drive

- Fire Station 64 at 1439 Howell Branch Road
