Orlando receives federal grants for disaster mitigation projects from FloridaCommerce

The City of Orlando has received two federal grants from FloridaCommerce as part of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Mitigation program. This funding is provided by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development through a $633 million Community Development Block Grant for disaster mitigation projects in areas affected by presidentially declared disasters in 2016 and 2017.

Information regarding procurement opportunities related to these grants can be accessed via the City of Orlando’s OpenGov Procurement Portal.

Those who find responses unsatisfactory may submit a written complaint or appeal to the FloridaCommerce Office of Long-Term Resiliency at CDBG-DR@Commerce.FL.gov or send mail to:
