The City of Orlando is inviting the community to participate in the final meeting of the Pulse Memorial Advisory Committee. The committee aims to finalize a conceptual design for a memorial honoring the 49 lives lost during the Pulse tragedy.

Comprising representatives from victims' families, survivors, and other stakeholders, the committee is tasked with guiding the creation of a permanent memorial at the Pulse site. Their goal is to ensure that the design reflects the diverse voices affected by the tragedy. "The committee’s goal is to recommend a conceptual design that resonates with the diverse voices of those who were directly impacted by the tragedy."

Meeting details and updates can be accessed at pulseorlando.org/committee. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Orlando City Hall in the Fairview Room on the ninth floor.

Public participation is encouraged both virtually and in-person, with options available in English and Spanish. Virtual attendance information is provided at pulseorlando.org/meetinginformation.

For media personnel, parking arrangements are available along South Orange Avenue and in the City Commons Parking Garage. Entry should be made through security check-in on City Hall's first floor.

Ashley Papagni serves as Public Information Officer for this event.
