Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer issued the following announcement on March 31.
If your trash and recycling have been picked up over the last 25 years (and I am guessing they have or you would have called my office), you owe Mike Carroll a thank you. As our Solid Waste Division Manager, Mike manages one of the most important municipal services that City of Orlando – Government provides.
Mike is retiring after 36 total years with the City of Orlando and I was so happy to join District 3 Commissioner: Robert F. Stuart, Commissioner Patty Sheehan and District 6 Commissioner: Bakari F. Burns to thank him – on behalf of every member of our community – for his dedication and commitment to our city.
