Turn Over of Orlando Fire Department to Chief Charlie Salazar

0Comments

Today we turned over the command of the Orlando Fire Department to Chief Charlie Salazar. He comes to our community after nearly 29 years with Dallas Fire-Rescue, where he worked his way through the ranks up to Executive Deputy Chief, serving a city with a population of more than 1.3 million residents and helping guide a fire department with 2,000 members.

I’m confident that with his professional background, strong leadership and organizational skills, Chief Salazar has a firm foundation to ensure that OFD continues to work diligently in protecting our community.
