Weekend Watch Alert for Downtown Orlando

In addition to Downtown’s regular active and vibrant scene, several large-scale events are planned and additional road closures will be implemented. 

Event attendees are encouraged to plan their route and parking locations ahead of time and to leave early to give themselves enough time to get downtown to anticipate to unforeseen delays. 

Alternate forms of transportation, such as LYMMO and bike share, can assist in getting patrons to their end location.

2022 Veteran’s Day Parade

November 12

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and his Veterans Advisory Council will honor the courageous men and women of the armed forces at the 23rd annual City of Orlando Veterans Day Parade in downtown Orlando. Parade route begins at Robinson Street and Orange Avenue.

Christian Nodal

November 12

Christian Nodal, named by Apple Music as the most successful Regional Mexican artist of all time, will play the Forajido Tour at Amway Center, 400 West Church Street.

Electric Daisy Carnival

November 11, 12, 13

EDC returns to Orlando Florida with the best in electronic dance music, full-size carnival rides, performers, and art. Located at Tinker Field at 287 South Tampa Avenue. 

HamiltonNovember 11 – 13Hamilton is the story of America then, told by America now, with  score that blends hip-hop, jazz, and R&B. Playing at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on 445 South. Magnolia Avenue. 

Orlando Magic

November 11

Orlando Magic will take on the Phoenix Suns. Amway Center at 400 West Church Street.

Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Presents Majestic Bruckner/Dvořák GrandeurNovember 12 and 13Enter Bruckner’s expansive soundworld. Leading into the symphony is Dvořák’s Cello Concerto, a work of symphonic grandeur and passion that will showcase the astonishing technique and artistry of Jan Vogler. Showing at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts at 445 South Magnolia Avenue. 

Orlando Solar Bears

November 13

Orlando Solar Bears will ltake on the Trois-Rivières Lions. Experience the chilling excitement of Solar Bears hockey live at Amway Center – 400 West Church Street.

Stetson University School of Music

November 12

The Stetson University School of Music is delighted to announce its debut at Steinmetz Hall in the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Established in 1936, the School of Music was Florida’s first collegiate music school. Showing at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts at 445 South Magnolia Avenue.
