12:30 p.m. - Art² Groundbreaking Ceremony

Mayor Dyer will join District 5 City Commissioner Regina I. Hill, Orlando Downtown Development Board, Dr. Phillips Center, Dr. Phillips Charites, and Ascend Studios to break ground on a new park, Art2 in downtown Orlando.
This new park furthers the vision set forth in the DTOutlook plan by the community to ensure downtown Orlando remains “An Awesome Outdoor City.”
3 p.m. - Orlando Police Department Junior Reserve Law Enforcement Kickoff
Orlando Police Headquarters, 1250 West South Street
Mayor Dyer will join City Commissioners, Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolón, and Junior Reserve Law Enforcement Program (JRLEP) students to kickoff the program and unveil the new uniforms. This kickoff celebrates nearly 300 students participating in the program where they will learn about the law enforcement industry through collaboration the Orlando Police Department and other community partners, Orange County Public Schools, the Orlando Regional REALTOR Foundation, and the Valencia College School of Public Safety.

10 a.m. - OUC 2030 Solar Pledge Campaign Kickoff
OUC Gardenia Facility, 3800 Gardenia Avenue
Mayor Dyer will join the Orlando Utilities Commission to launch the “2030 Solar Pledge”, a campaign to encourage the community to begin the transition to clean energy through the OUC Community Solar Program.
This pledge aligns with the City of Orlando's goals of powering 100% of city operations from renewable energy by 2030.
The event will feature a tour of the emerging technologies being tested at the OUC Gardenia facility, including a carport solar array, floating solar array, electric vehicle charging stations, green hydrogen project, and more.
