Mayor Dyer will join Margate Mayor Antonio Arserio, Largo Mayor Woody Brown and Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis in a "Meet the Mayors" panel discussion at the Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC) Conference. The panel will focus on economic development, retail opportunities and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in cities.

11 a.m. - Luminary Green Park Ribbon Cutting

Mayor Dyer will join District 5 City Commissioner Regina I. Hill to officially open Orlando’s newest park, Luminary Green. This 2.3-acre park at Creative Village provides a special space for residents, workers and students in Parramore and downtown Orlando to gather. In the near future, the park will also feature luminary installations that will posthumously honor individuals who have positively impacted the Parramore-Holden community.

Mayor Dyer will join District 5 City Commissioner Regina I. Hill at the Orlando Economic Partnership's All Women Empowered Impact Forum. This collaborative event is focused on women’s economic empowerment and will highlight regional resources available to women in Central Florida.
10:30 a.m. - AdventHealth Training Center Ribbon Cutting
25 South Terry Avenue
Mayor Dyer will join District 5 City Commissioner Regina I. Hill and leadership from the Orlando Magic and AdventHealth to cut the ribbon and celebrate the grand opening of the AdventHealth Training Center in the Parramore community. The state-of-the-art center represents a significant investment in downtown Orlando and will serve as the practice and training home for the Magic and AdventHealth's destination sports-medicine center.

10:30 a.m. - SoDo Urban Trail Ribbon Cutting

Mayor Dyer will join District 4 City Commissioner Patty Sheehan, representatives from Orlando Health, the Florida Department of Transportation, GAI Consultants, the SoDo Neighborhood Improvement District and the SoDo Main Street District to cut the ribbon and celebrate the completion of the SoDo Urban Trail extension. This extension will connect the south of downtown to the Urban Trail and the future Downtown Loop.
3 p.m. - Prospera Success Stories event
Rosen Plaza Hotel, 9700 International Drive
Mayor Dyer will join Prospera Statewide Board of Directors and the Central Florida team to recognize some of the most outstanding Hispanic entrepreneurs for their excellence as small business owners, and how they’ve advanced since receiving bilingual assistance from Prospera and overcoming pandemic-related challenges.
6 p.m. - Orlando Urban Film Festival 2022 Opening Night Celebration
CMX Cinemas Plaza, 155 South Orange Avenue
Mayor Dyer will join City Commissioners to cut the ribbon and officially open the 2022 Orlando Urban Film Festival. The five-day festival adds to the multicultural events offered in the city and provides public exposure and recognition for Orlando’s arts and creative community.
