10:30 a.m. - 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Marathon Announcement
City Hall Rotunda, 400 South Orange Avenue
Mayor Dyer will join with members from Greater Orlando Sports Commission, USA Track & Field, and Track Shack to unveil the official route for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Marathon which will be hosted in downtown Orlando on Saturday, February 3, 2024. With this marquee event, Orlando continues to be recognized as a top sports destination in the county and will be the first city in Florida to host this competition which is expected to draw more than 60,000 spectators.
5:30 p.m. - Celebrating Immigrants’ Contributions to Florida's Economy - Business and Community Mixer
Mayor William Beardall Senior Center, 800 Delaney Avenue
Mayor Dyer will join U.S. Representative Maxwell Alejandro Frost, U.S. Representative Darren Soto, American Business Immigration Coalition, HOPE CommUnity Center and 15 local chambers of commerce to celebrate immigrants’ contributions to Central Florida’s economy. This event builds on the city’s efforts to ensure Orlando is a diverse, inclusive and welcoming community.

10:30 a.m. - Wavelength Coffee Co. Ribbon Cutting

Mayor Dyer will join State Representative Anna Eskamani to cut the ribbon for the grand opening of Wavelength Coffee Co. in downtown Orlando. Located inside the Bellhop Orlando lounge, Wavelength, is one of the newest small businesses to join the downtown neighborhood and will help further downtown’s daytime offerings for residents, workers and visitors.

10:30 a.m. - Lake Eola Park Expansion Groundbreaking

Mayor Dyer with join District 4 City Commissioner Patty Sheehan, City Commissioners and the community to celebrate the groundbreaking of the expansion of Orlando’s signature at Lake Eola Park. The expansion will bring new features to the park, such as artwork, updated lighting, large sidewalks, new benches, shade trees and native landscaping. The project will add more green space to downtown and provide another unique gathering spot for residents, workers and visitors.
3 p.m. - Primrose Lanes Ribbon Cutting
400 North Primrose Drive
Mayor Dyer will join the community to celebrate the grand opening of Primrose Lanes. Formally Colonial Lanes, this community staple has been renovated and restored to bring family-friendly entertainment and more culinary offerings to the Orlando Main Street Milk District.
