Orlando City Council Appoints Michelle McCrimmon as Chief Financial Officer

Orlando City Council has announced the appointment of Michelle McCrimmon as the new Chief Financial Officer during their meeting on February 19, 2024. The Council expressed their confidence in McCrimmon's abilities, highlighting her 13 years of experience as the deputy CFO and over three decades in the Business and Financial profession.

"We want to highlight the appointment of Michelle McCrimmon as our new Chief Financial Officer," stated the City Council. "We are confident Michelle is well qualified for our CFO role and will continue to provide our city with excellent financial management."

The Council also took the opportunity to thank Chris McCullion for his 18 years of dedicated service to the city as he transitions into the role of CFO for the Orlando Utilities Commission. McCullion played a crucial role in developing financing plans for various community initiatives during his tenure.

"We would also like to thank Chris McCullion for his 18 years of dedication and service to our city," added the City Council.

Michelle McCrimmon's appointment is seen as a strategic move to ensure continued financial stability and effective management within the city. The Council encouraged the community to join them in congratulating McCrimmon on her new role and expressing gratitude to McCullion for his service.
