The City of Orlando's Downtown Development Board has announced the launch of a new market called Luminary Market. This monthly event will feature between 20 to 25 vendors, including local artisans and businesses, aimed at supporting the Creative Village community.
RTP Productions, known for managing the Orlando Farmers Market, will oversee operations. The market will also introduce KaleidoScope 360°, an outdoor movie series premiering on the same evening as the market's debut. This initiative is intended to enhance Luminary Green Park's role as a cultural hub.
The market aims to provide space for local stores and promote economic development in downtown Orlando. It will offer diverse food options, contributing to community growth in Parramore and surrounding areas.
Scheduled for Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm, Luminary Market will occur on the first Wednesday of every month except December 2024 and January 2025. The location is Luminary Green Park at Creative Village.
