The City of Orlando, in collaboration with its Community Redevelopment Agency, is set to introduce a new transportation service called Ride DTO. This initiative aims to provide an affordable and eco-friendly way for residents, workers, and visitors to navigate downtown Orlando. The service will officially launch on Monday, October 7, 2024.
Ride DTO offers rides at the cost of $1 each, facilitating connections to local businesses and enhancing the downtown experience. Circuit Transit, Inc. operates this service using a fleet of all-electric vehicles that run daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
To encourage new users, there is a special offer available where they can enjoy their first three trips for free by using the code RIDEDTO. Interested individuals can access the service through an app available for both Apple and Android devices.
The introduction of Ride DTO is part of efforts to support local businesses while promoting sustainable urban mobility solutions within the city center.
