The city has emphasized that this desk will be staffed continuously during the activation period to assist media with information about the city's response and impacts related to Hurricane Milton. The city advises against contacting individual city press staff for storm-related inquiries during this period, as all Public Information Officers (PIOs) will be collaborating from the EOC. Consequently, emails or calls to specific city press contacts may not receive responses.
