Magical Dining de Visit Orlando Regresa el 27 de Agosto

New benefits include Chef's 'Special Creations' and 'Magical Nights'

Visit Orlando's Magical Dining returns to celebrate 16 years showcasing some of Orlando's best dining options, while supporting local restaurants and charities. From Aug. 27 to Oct. 3, more than 90 fine dining restaurants in the city will offer a three-course dinner menu for $37. Options are already online at MagicalDining.com so diners can plan ahead, make reservations and explore exclusive hotel deals, something new this year from the program: Magical Nights.

"In its 16 years, Visit Orlando's Magical Dining evolves with new benefits to help users find restaurant options, share plans and recommendations with others, and even take a weekend mini-vacation," said Casandra Matej, President and CEO of Visit Orlando. "Magical Dining" is an important program for our community not only because of the money raised for charities but also because of the support it provides to local restaurants, which are still working hard to recover from a challenging year."

Dinner, Stay & Entertainment

With the new Visit Orlando's Magical Nights benefit, visitors and residents can gain access to exclusive hotel and resort deals to enhance their dining experience with an overnight stay or longer to enjoy the destination. More than a dozen hotel options can be found here, including:

  • Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort: Up to 30% on an overnight stay.

New Magical Dining Tools

New features in MagicalDining.com make it easier to explore the different restaurants and keep track of your favorites. Chefs have more flexibility of exclusive set menu options, plus six new restaurants join this year's list:

  • My Visit Orlando's Magical Dining® Favorites: MagicalDining.com's website includes a new tool where diners can bookmark their "favorite" restaurants, view a personalized map with their selections, and share their list with friends, making it easier than ever to create a tasting plan during Magical Dining.
  • Creation of the Chef: Participating restaurants now have the opportunity to add an option to the Magical Dining menu that is not offered on the regular menu. This offers chefs more creative freedom and customers alternatives to choose from during their Magical Dining experience.
  • New Restaurants for 2021:Six restaurants have joined the program for the first time this year: 310 Lakeside, 310 Park South, Adega Gaucha, Aurora at the Celeste, Russell's in Lake Ivanhoe and RusTeak in Thornton Park. A full list of participating restaurants is available in MagicalDining.com.
The ability to order to take home is returning to this year's program, giving foodies the flexibility to enjoy an exquisite dinner in the comfort of their home or hotel room. Several restaurants also offer vegan dishes.

Dining for a Cause

Each year, Visit Orlando's Magical Dining contributes one dollar of each meal served through the program to local charities. This year's donated funds will focus on two organizations: Pathlight HOME and IDignity, which help combat homelessness in Central Florida and facilitate access to basic services. More information can be found here.

With a mission to end homelessness, Pathlight HOME provides affordable housing and offers an employment resource center to help low-income and homeless people in Central Florida recover, while IDignity helps disadvantaged Central Floridians obtain legal identification documents that are often required to access education, employment, housing, banking, social services, adequate medical care and numerous additional opportunities.
